Medical Aesthetic News was on the ground at IMCAS Asia 2026. Held on June 19–21 at The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, the 19th edition drew — per the organiser's pre-event figures — around 3,300 attendees, with 230 speakers taking the stage, reaffirming its place as one of the largest aesthetic medicine congresses in the Asia-Pacific. This year's program centered on treatments tailored to Asian morphologies, with regenerative and longevity science emerging as major currents. There was a strong Korean presence in particular: among the 131 official sponsors, 53 were Korean companies — roughly 40% — and Korean firms were prominent in the highest sponsorship tiers, underscoring the momentum of K-Medical Aesthetics. Beyond the booths, though, both the threats and the opportunities facing K-Medical Aesthetics came into view — global premium brands from above, China's volume push from below, and the consolidation of distribution networks on top of that. We sat down on-site with Korean and global industry figures and KOLs. The series ahead will bring you those voices firsthand.
