[Unboxing] Filling the Gap Left by Conventional EBDs: Why Dr. Sungyong Kim Chose 'RedTouch PRO' | Part 1

 Dr. Sungyong Kim of Yonsei Medical Clinic in Haeundae, Busan, has introduced DEKA’s ‘RedTouch Pro’ to his practice. Since opening his clinic in 2000, Dr. Kim has operated a wide range of energy-based devices for over 25 years, and said he selected this system as an alternative to address the limitations of conventional HIFU and radiofrequency equipment. The core feature of RedTouch Pro is its 675 nm wavelength technology. While conventional devices promote collagen regeneration by inducing thermal collagen contraction, this system directly targets collagen itself as a chromophore. Dr. Kim noted that its high melanin absorption may allow for simultaneous improvement in skin elasticity and overall complexion. He also added that, compared to HIFU or monopolar RF, the device is associated with less pain and may serve as an option for patients concerned about fat atrophy.
