[2026 New Year Special] K-Medical Aesthetics Meets the Global South - Part 22 | Interview with Efendi Tan, CEO of Beauty World Indonesia

 Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country, is recognized as having the greatest growth potential in Southeast Asia's aesthetic medicine market. Building on high interest in K-Beauty and K-Culture, demand for Korean aesthetic medical devices continues to rise steadily. We met with Efendi Tan, CEO of Beauty World Indonesia, one of Indonesia's largest aesthetic medicine distributors, at i-SWAM 2025. With 24 years of experience in the medical aesthetics field, he currently serves as the official Indonesian distributor for Korea's drug delivery system 're:H.' We discussed the background of re:H distribution, Indonesian market response, and his advice for Korean manufacturers looking to enter the local market.
