[Interview & Lecture] What Changed After Introducing ‘PICO-K’: Dr. Hyunjin Cho on Treating Lentigines and Resistant Pigmentation
Dr. Hyunjin Cho of Labella Clinic shared his clinical experience with the Korean-made picosecond laser PICO-K through an interview and lecture. Having used PICO-K for about two years, Dr. Cho explained that the device delivers a true 300-ps pulse with a maximum output energy of 600 mJ and ensures exceptional beam stability through its in-house–developed seed laser. Clinically, he reported effective results not only in treating epidermal lentigines but also in tattoos, café-au-lait macules, agminated lentiginosis, and congenital melanocytic nevi—conditions often considered refractory. He further noted that agminated lentiginosis treated with the 1064 nm wavelength frequently shows more than 50% improvement. Dr. Cho emphasized that PICO-K combines stable quality, durability, and precise energy control, making it a highly useful Korean-made device for clinicians.
